Self-Awareness Workshops

The From Beads To You Self-Awareness Workshop is an art therapy session complemented with psychodramatic tools.

The main elements of the session are beads and the group. These beads serve as a kind of palette for the participants to create with. At the heart of the creation and the event itself is self-discovery work, processing the events of your life so far, and continuing to weave the thread of your life.

No prior experience, manual skills, or acting affinity is required for this event. Come and spend these 4 hours getting closer to the person you want to become, or surprise a loved one with such an experience!

 

What happens during such a 4-hour session?

The workshop provides a framework for self-discovery work, where the facilitators help participants attune as much as possible to the thread of their own lives during these 4 hours. The workshop begins with exercises that aid in this attunement, followed by a focus on creating with beads. In the workshop, the beads symbolize specific life events, facilitating the processing of these events and communication about them. Participants of the workshop are bound by group confidentiality, meaning what happens in the workshop stays in the workshop.

 

How many people participate in such a session?

A maximum of 6 people can participate in one session.

 

Can the beads be taken home?

The beads are unique creations made by artists, and their production is costly and time-consuming. The basic participation fee of the workshop covers the cost of one bead, so each participant can choose one bead during the workshop to take home.

 

Is it possible to purchase the selected beads?

Not at the moment. We want to completely separate the self-discovery workshop from the purchase of beads.
